I had a request to make this mold. I used a real sub roll to make it.. In the picture below you will see the roll on the right is how it comes out of the mold cold. On the left I took it out while warm and raised the top of the roll for a more open sandwich. So it is totally adjustable. Just loosen around the edges while the wax still feels warm. Find the back of the roll and pull the roll out of the mold from the back part. Then raise the top as far as you want. Place something inside the opening to hold it at that level until it has cooled. I opened mine then put it in the frig laying on it's back with the open end up and let it cool that way. I didn't put anything inside, but it can be done that way too.
